Make a little space for your day
Simple enough to
keep coming back to.
Log what happened.
Add food, a drink, poo or a symptom. Include a time and any notes you want to remember. Optional details can stay unrecorded.
Keep the context.
Choose a Bristol stool type, note a symptom’s severity, or reuse a favourite meal. There’s a Not sure option when you need it.
Look back when it helps.
Search your history, review descriptive counts and export a PDF report to share at an appointment if you choose.
A look inside
The details you want.
The space to leave others blank.
These are real app screens with fictional entries. Select a screen to see it full size.
Less typing, more living.
Reuse favourite meals and drinks. Water shortcuts, optional reminders and Home Screen widgets make it easier to open a logging form.
A record you can revisit.
See what you logged across a date range. Summaries describe your entries; they don’t diagnose conditions or identify food triggers.
Personal means personal
Your diary.
Your iPhone.
Your choice.
There’s no account, cloud database, advertising or tracking inside EatNPoo.
Your records stay in the app’s private storage. Optional app lock uses iPhone authentication. A report or backup leaves the app only when you choose to export or share it.
Keep a backup you can recover.
Your diary is excluded from automatic device backups. Save a full JSON backup before changing phones or deleting the app. We don’t hold a server copy that we can restore for you.
A gentle place to start
Your first week
with a food & poo diary.
A practical guide to logging, looking back and keeping a backup. No perfect diary required.
Good to know
A few everyday questions.
How much does EatNPoo cost?
The planned launch price is £0.99 in the UK or US $0.99. All features are included. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. Prices in other countries are shown in the local App Store and may vary.
Can I download it now?
EatNPoo has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting App Store review. It isn’t available to download yet. We’ll update this page with the download link once it is available.
Can EatNPoo tell me which foods cause symptoms?
EatNPoo helps you keep and review your own records. It does not establish cause and effect, diagnose a condition or recommend treatment. You can choose to share a report with a qualified healthcare professional.
What is the Bristol Stool Scale?
It’s a way of describing stool form using seven types. In EatNPoo, choose the picture and description closest to what you observed, or select Not sure. The entry records form without assigning a diagnosis.
How do I move my diary to a new iPhone?
Save a full JSON backup in Settings, deliberately transfer it using a destination you trust, then restore that file in EatNPoo on the new phone. Check your diary before deleting the old copy. A backup kept only on the same phone cannot help if that phone is lost.
