Privacy policy

Who provides EatNPoo
EatNPoo is provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page, using my2patterns.com for app support. For privacy questions, contact my2patterns@gmail.com.
Your diary stays on your iPhone
Food and drink entries, bowel-movement details, symptoms, notes, favourites and day confirmations are stored in the app’s private storage on your iPhone. Reminder preferences, app-lock choices and the recorded date of your last saved backup are also stored locally.
EatNPoo does not operate a cloud database, synchronise your diary to a server or require an account. We cannot see or recover your diary from our systems.
Backups and exports you choose
The app’s private diary and preferences directory is excluded from automatic device backups. Save a JSON backup before changing phones or deleting the app. To keep a backup on the same device, choose On My iPhone in Files.
You can deliberately save or share JSON backups, CSV files and PDF reports. Those files can contain health information. If you select iCloud Drive, another cloud provider, email or a sharing app, the file can leave your iPhone and the destination’s privacy practices apply. Exported copies are managed separately from the diary inside EatNPoo.
Notifications and widgets
Reminders are optional, are scheduled locally and require iOS notification permission. Their previews do not include diary records. You can turn them off in EatNPoo’s reminder settings or in iPhone Settings.
The Home Screen widget and app-icon shortcuts open logging forms in EatNPoo. The widget does not read, store or display your diary entries, and a logging form is not saved until you choose Save.
App lock and device security
App lock is optional. iOS performs Face ID, Touch ID or device-passcode authentication. EatNPoo receives the authentication result; it does not receive or store your biometric images or templates.
Private app files use iOS file protection. A privacy cover hides the diary when the app is inactive. App lock does not protect files that you have already exported to other locations.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
EatNPoo includes no advertising, analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. It does not automatically send diary records, usage events or crash reports to the developer. Apple may process App Store and device diagnostic information under your Apple settings and Apple’s own privacy practices.
Support you contact
If you email support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond and troubleshoot your request. Please avoid sending diary exports or medical details unless you deliberately choose to share them.
Support correspondence is handled through the support email service, separately from the app’s local diary. You can contact us to request deletion of correspondence; information that needs to be retained for legal or administrative reasons may be retained for those purposes.
Retention and deletion
Your local diary remains until you delete entries, choose Delete all diary data in Settings, or remove the app. Delete all diary data removes entries, day confirmations and favourites; app preferences are retained. Removing the app removes its private storage through iOS.
Deleting data inside EatNPoo does not delete copies that you previously exported, shared or saved with another provider. Manage those copies in Files or the destination service. Importing an older backup can restore records that were deleted after that backup was created.
External links
Opening a developer website, privacy page, support email or NHS reference is an action you choose. The browser, email provider and external website handle information according to their own practices. Diary content is not attached to an email or sent to a website automatically.
Changes and contact
If the app’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. Contact my2patterns@gmail.com with questions about EatNPoo or this policy.
